Registered Charity CC55600.
Tautoko Rangatahi Trust exists to facilitate the engagement of our South Taranaki youth in functional fitness for their physical and holistic development.
We believe functional fitness programs serve as a proxy-classroom, where positive self-worth, discipline, perseverance and dedication are both encouraged and strengthened. Seeing kids grow in confidence and ambition is the only reward we seek.
Premised on real-world situational biomechanics, functional fitness programs incorporate cardiovascular activities, gymnastics and weight-lifting. In partnership with our service providers, our programs are specifically designed for youth aged between 11 years and 17 years, and incorporate healthy decision-making, positive role-modelling and goal-setting.
Our current service partnership with 3B Fitness Club, Hawera provides placements for 18 children, three times a week, throughout the school terms (“cohorts”).
As placements in our programs are 100% funded by the revenue generated through local business sponsorship and our own fundraising activities,
we established this site to promote our cause.
